JESUS TAFOYA, MD
Born in Las Vegas, NM, Jesus attended NMHU in Las Vegas, followed by medical school at UNM's School of Medicine, and then completed his residency at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. In addition to working at Sunrise Clinics/Las Vegas, Jesus provides ER and hospitalist services at Guadalupe County Hospital, serves as Medical Director at Vida Encantada Nursing & Rehab Facility, and is an Associate Professor at UNM School of Medicine, the President of the New Mexico Hispanic Medical Association, and a proud husband and father of four.Antje Postl, RN, FNP
A Nurse Practitioner and Certified Diabetes Educator who is fluent in English, Spanish, and German, Antje is dedicated to helping patients understand and heal their bodies using a combination of medicine, diet, and exercise. She earned her RN in Vienna, Austria, her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from UNM, and earned her Master of Science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner from UNM in 2000. A native of Germany who fell in love with the southwest and has called Santa Rosa home since 1993, Antje enjoys cultivating the farm she owns with her husband Randy, long walks in the scenic PDL valley, time with family, and reading.Clarissa Garcia, CFNP
A native of Ledoux, New Mexico. Clarissa attended Luna Community College, followed by New Mexico Highlands University, and then completed her Nurse Practitioner training through the University of New Mexico in 2021. She is now a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who is practicing Family Medicine at Sunrise Clinics/Las Vegas. She is currently accepting new patients, from children to elderly. In her free time, she enjoys time with her daughter, fiancé, and family.Michael Lee, PA-C
Originally from Wisconsin, Michael earned his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and then graduated from the University of Saint Francis in Albuquerque with his M.S. in 2012. His work experience includes primary care, urgent care, EMT services and school-based care. In addition to working at Sunrise Clinics, Michael serves as a Provider for Anvoi Hospice, is the Medical Director at Alta Vista Regional Hospital, and is involved with the Residency Program at UNM School of Medicine, with the goal of increasing the number of doctors in Las Vegas. Happy to be living in Las Vegas, Michael is a proud husband and father of four, who also gives of his time to serve as a local volunteer firefighter.MEET OUR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROVIDERS
Chelsea Gutierrez, LCSW
Chelsea earned a Bachelor of Social Work at New Mexico State University in 1997, a Master of Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University in 2012, and has been a Licensed Independent Social Worker since 2015. She offers a wide range of individual counseling for issues related to anxiety, depression, bi-polar, trauma, substance abuse, grief/loss, and life transitions. Chelsea is a dedicated professional who works to hold a safe space for clients to explore and progress toward their goals.MEET OUR SCHOOL BASED PROVIDERS
Matt Probst P.A.-C
Matt earned his A.S. Health and Exercise Science degree from Santa Fe Community College, his A.S. Biology from Santa Fe Community College, and his B.S. Physician Assistant from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in 2003. In the years since, Matt has received numerous state and national awards, all related to his focus on improving the health of those in his community and beyond, which is clearly evident in the passionate way he cares for his patients.

Aileen Swope, N.P.
I was born and raised in Springer, New Mexico. I started my nursing career in 2000. I received my Master’s of Science in Nursing and obtained my certification as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2011. I pursued my education and recently obtained certification as a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Nursing degree through Frontier Nursing University.Pamela Ammons, C.F.N.P.
Originally from Louisiana, traveled and lived all over the United States. Began a medical career in West Monroe, Louisiana as a Surgical Technologist in 1983. Obtained associate degree in nursing in Morristown, Tennessee 1990. Obtained BSN in 2016, MSN-FNP in 2018 from Tusculum University Greeneville, Tennessee. Received AANP certification Feb 2019. James Gonzales M.D.
Dr. James Gonzales grew up in the beautiful rural mountain town of Penasco, New Mexico. He attended the University of New Mexico for both undergraduate and medical school. After graduating in 2014, he attended Texas Tech University and completed a residency in Family Medicine. Dr. Gonzales and his wife, Ashley, work together in Santa Rosa, NM. As a clinical assistant professor for UNM and Burrell College, he precepts medical students and residents. Dr. Gonzales is currently serving the country as a member of the Army National Guard. In his downtime, Dr. Gonzales enjoys spending time with his family.Senora Campos, C.F.N.P.
Senora is a Certified Nurse Practitioner who is compassionate about preventative care. She comes with over 18 years of ER, IP, Chronic Care, and Pain Management nursing experience. Her career began in 2001, as she graduated with her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Clovis Community College. Then, while functioning as Director of Nursing for Guadalupe County Hospital, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing through the Eastern New Mexico University in Portales in 2010. Senora joined Sunrise Medical Group in 2014 as the chronic care management lead, and then earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing in February of 2019.
Senora was born in Anchorage Alaska, but grew up in Roswell, NM. She lives with her spouse and two children on a small ranch just outside Santa Rosa. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, crocheting, painting, and ceramics.
Alex Phillips M.D.
Dr. Alex Phillips is originally from St. Simons Island in southeastern Georgia. He attended college in Atlanta and medical school at the Medical College of Georgia. After graduating he moved with his family to New Mexico and completed his residency in Family Medicine at UNM. His professional interests include full-spectrum rural healthcare, wilderness medicine, and teaching medical students and residents. Dr. Phillips spends his downtime with his wife Lydia, daughter Blythe, and 3-legged dog Milly, and also enjoys basketball and getting outdoors in the beautiful southwest.Tim Overton M.D.
Originally from Texas, Dr. Timothy Overton considers himself lucky to have been able to train at West Texas A&M, University of Texas-Houston, and most recently, UNM Hospital in Albuquerque, where he completed his residency in Family Medicine. With a strong interest in emergency medicine as well as primary care, he also has a Master’s in Public Health, reflecting his commitment to the community he calls home. Haily Wallace M.D.
Haily C. Lee Wallace, M.D. grew up in Eastern New Mexico on a 5 generation family farm and ranch. She was very active in athletics and extracurricular activities during high school and graduated Valedictorian. She attended the University of New Mexico where she was on the UNM Track and Field Team and majored in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with honors in Biochemistry. She attended the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and completed her residency at Texas Tech University in Family Medicine. She sees individuals of all ages and is passionate about preventive care, chronic care management, women’s health and caring for children. She is married and has two sons and a daughter. Her family is active in the community and strongly promotes youth activities and involvement.Laura Mardo, C.F.N.P.
I am a board certified family nurse practitioner, I received my master’s degree from Walden University. I was a nurse for 20 years before becoming a nurse practitioner, I can care for patients from newborn to geriatrics. I have a certification in emergency nursing. My family is very important to me and I enjoy spending time with them. My husband and I have been married for 21 years and we have four children two boys and two girls. My hobbies include cooking especially baking, reading, and fishing.Jennifer Fryman C.F.N.P.
Jennifer Fryman was born and raised in Tucumcari NM. After high school she got her nursing degree and moved to Wyoming with her husband. She then went on to get her nurse practitioner degrees from Regis University in Denver, CO. Jennifer has been an RN for over 20 years and practicing as a primary health care provider for over 12.
She cares for patients of all ages from birth to elderly. She has a lot of experience with DOT physicals, sports physical, women’s health, and diabetes. On her off time Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, her horses, and dogs.
